Sneak Peak: Ashley + Kyle 7.23.11

Oregon finally had beautiful weather last Saturday and what perfect timing for Ashley and Kyle's wedding day! This is a fun sneak peak, only two photos from their special day at Ata Vista Farm in Brownsville, OR. The photos were taken by the lovely Ashley Forrette Photography....we will post additional photos once we have them in our hot little hands!

Orange and Green Inspiration

Recently I have been really enjoying a deep orange and green combination, I think it must be related to my recent trip to Maui, Hawaii and all of the tropical flowers. The hotel where we stayed had the most lush rich green plants with deep orange flowers. Birds of paradise and orchids where everywhere, the landscaping was stunning. An important key to coming up with a color theme for a wedding is finding two colors that compliment each other. Once you find your base colors you can then begin adding different shades of the two colors, not everything has to be identical colors but a lighter of darker shade that compliments the original colors.
